When we approach the Father in Christ's name, we have confidence that He "is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us" (Ephesians 3:20, NIV).

• Samaritan's Purse is working to mobilize Christians worldwide to fight HIV/AIDS in their communities. Pray for all those affected by the disease and that Christians across the globe will respond to the deadly pandemic with the compassion of Jesus Christ.

• Prescription for Hope offers a Biblically-based curriculum to encourage youth to make healthy choices. Pray that young people would see the importance of behavior change and that the Lord would open doors for prevention education based on His word.

• Prescription for Hope supports counseling and testing so people can learn their HIV status. Pray that these services will help overcome HIV/AIDS related stigma and put an end to the fear that keeps many from being tested.

• Samaritan's Purse field offices throughout the world incorporate HIV/AIDS programs into ongoing relief efforts. Pray for our staff as they work to meet the practical needs of people who live in communities deeply affected by the pandemic and that many will come to a personal relationship with Jesus as a result of these programs.

• Prescription for Hope offers workshops for pastors and other Christian leaders to teach them how to approach HIV/AIDS in their communities. Pray that our workshops will encourage these leaders so they will be successful in reaching out to their communities with truth and compassion.

• Prescription for Hope provides training and resources to grassroots organizations and mission hospitals around the world. Pray that these organizations will be strong and effective in their response to the disease.

• Pray that God will use our ministry to give immediate and eternal hope to suffering people.
