World Medical Mission, the medical arm of Samaritan’s Purse, places Protestant Christian physicians and dentists for short term assignments at evangelical mission hospitals and clinics around the world.
Anesthesia
Hospital Vozandes Del Oriente (Shell) Ecuador — Hospital Vozandes - Shell - located in Shell, Ecuador has an urgent need for an Anesthesiologist for up to one year. (The hospital is also inviting any Christian Anesthesiologist who could spend up to 2 weeks not including travel). Shell is a 35 bed referral hospital with a wide range of surgical, medical, maternity and pediatric services. A minimum service of one week plus travel is preferred. Spanish is a preferred, but not required for surgical specialists. Shell is a very family friendly location.
The individual volunteer is responsible for all costs associated with the trip. World Medical Mission personnel will provide assistance in arranging all travel including international flights and in-country travel as well as any needed medical licenses, visas or permits.
